BRIDE + GROOM

INFORMATION SHEET

This first section is just basic information about the wedding day! Here are a few tips to know beforehand:

1. Make sure there is natural light in the room where the bride will be getting ready (window light). This makes a WORLD of difference in your images! Promise!

2. If possible, try to have all bridal details together before the photographer arrives. (Dress, jewelry, shoes, bouquet, garter, veil, etc) This will make the detail shots faster!

3. Keep the area near the window free of trash, bags, snacks, etc. This will be where the bride will be putting on her dress! We don’t need any Aquafina bottles in our bridal portraits :).

4. Allow more time than you think you need to get ready! It’s better to be safe than RUSHED!

5. Relax and have fun! You’re getting MARRIED!!

If you’re sharing a FIRST LOOK, I will need to start shooting bridal details at LEAST 2.5 hours before the ceremony. 3 hours is recommended if there is no extensive travel time to the ceremony venue. If you’re working with a planner, they can forward this information to me if that’s easier. Email me if we need to go over this together! I’d love to help!

We have found on most wedding days, there is always a somewhat awkward conversation of whether or not bridesmaids and/or parents can watch from a distance , up close, or at all, This is your decision, and we are asking you in advance so that we can ensure that your preference is honored on your special day and that you don’t have to have any awkward conversations the day of. Please let us know if you would like your first look to be completely private, family and/or bridal party can watch from a distance, or anyone can watch from any distance.

If so, do you prefer to see this person prior to the bride + grooms first look or after?

Some brides choose to wear their veil for the first time when they come down the aisle because they can be heavy and uncomfortable, however I would only recommend this if we have a significant amount of time dedicated to portraits of just the bride and groom post-ceremony.

This is just so we area prepared for the amount of time we will need to capture all of your details.

We capture all reception details, bridal details, etc but sometimes there are some details that are unique that we are unaware of. Please list any details you want to make SURE we shoot so that we’re all on the same page. Your planner can fill this out if that would be easiest.

Please include names so that I can call family members by their first name as we organize the portraits. EX: B&G with Bride’s Parents (Kevin & Brenda) ALSO, please specify if there are STEP PARENTS and STEP SIBLINGS involved in portraits.
